Savaj is colloquial term used for Asiatic Lion in Gir region of Gujarat, India. Lion is a symbol of strength, courage and independent spirit. So when it came to selecting a name for our YouTube channel and blog, there was no confusion at all.
There are lot of people who are involved directly or indirectly enabling us to bring quality content to you. Savaj Outdoors is brainchild of Yograjsinh Chavda and Vishal Kansagra.
Yograjsinh Chavda is a businessman, bushcraft expert and a serious offroader. Apart from outdoors, he is interested in mechanical stuff, air guns and firearms . He's a vocal supporter of Right to Keep and Bear Arms (RKBA). Usually when not shooting, he can be found fixing and tweaking anything from a mechanical lock to a Jeep.
Vishal Kansagra is a wanderer and an engineering consultant. He has worked as a gadget reviewer in past and loves to talk about everything under the sun and beyond. He supports RKBA and loves to discuss the same with those who oppose it. When not working on engineering solutions, he prefers to hone outdoor skills or explore the wilderness.
