Gerber LMF II Survival Knife Review

Gerber LMF II was designed for crews of US Air Force. In case of a crash, crew members might need to cut through live wires. That meant that knife in question would require very good insulation. To achieve this, Gerber filled glass between portion between tang and glass breaker. It comes with MOLLE compatible sheath, strap cutter and additional straps to secure it.

Here are some quick specs of Gerber LMF II:

Overall length - 10.6"
Blade length - 4.84"
Blade: 420HC Stainless Steel
1/2 serrated near-full tang blade.
Weight (with sheath) - 688 g
Weight (without sheath) - 330 g
Package includes - 1 x Gerber LMF II knife, 1 x sheath (with sharpener), 1 x strap cutter, 1 x strap cutter sheath and 2 x straps.
